I could definitely use something to boost my immune system. My diet is
way less than perfect. When it comes to exam time, I'm always sick. A
couple of my teammates swear by Airborne so I gave it a try. I thought
it worked well but I personally didn't like the flavors. (pink
grapefruit? hot apple cider?)
My mom is always telling me to
drink lots of OJ but I really never do. Every time I've bought some, it
just sits in my fridge until I finally throw it out. Knowing this, my
mom sent me these caplets called MicroMune last winter right before
final exams. She also sent me One A Day vitamin pills along with them.
I took them together (how healthy am I!) for about 2 weeks before
exams. I liked them a lot because they worked well together. Lately
I've stopped taking them because I keep forgetting! If I could only
remember to take them I'd be healthy as ever!
Anyone else have any good ideas for staying healthy during exams?

Enough sleep but not too much, exercise, and good nutrition. Those are hard for a college student to do, but it's the only way to keep healthy.
I have two Masters degrees and one Bachelors, (Electrical Engineering and Computer Science) so I've had a lot of experience with exams. I was blessed in college to not have a car, and I had to walk 7-8 miles per day (exercise). I lived in a boarding house or had a meal ticket at school, so nutrition wasn't a problem. My big problem was lack of sleep. I read a report yesterday that when you're sleep deprived, your brain partially shuts down. Just what you don't need during finals.

I am the mother of a college student who is an athlete and loves junk food and am always looking for ways to encourage better nutrition without being too pushy.
I think my daughter would just throw the nutritional things straight in the trash if I sent them out to her.
It seems to me that the best thing for staying healthy is to just get in the habit of eating sensibly, getting exercise and getting enough sleep. Also, don't give up when there are times like during exams) it won't be possible to stick with it. But, you get right back into the routine as soon as you can.
Now, I wish I could be as disciplined as I advise!
